Court rulings and legal document translation.
Make judgments, procedural decisions and case materials understandable across English and Spanish while preserving their structure, citations and legal context.
Documents for proceedings and legal review
The intended use determines how the assignment is scoped.
- Complete judgments or requested extracts.
- Orders, procedural rulings and other court decisions.
- Claims, responses, appeals, submissions and reports.
- Contracts, certificates, powers and other documentary evidence.
The function of the decision matters
Court names, case numbers, parties, procedural terms and the operative part of a judgment require careful treatment. Reasons and conclusions must remain distinct, with citations and references traceable to the source.
Numbering, headings and document structure are retained where practical. Seals, signatures and other relevant elements are identified within the agreed scope.
Filing and expert requirements
Tell me which court or institution will receive the translation and whether it requires expert participation, a certification statement, a particular signature or another formality.
Being registered as a court expert does not automatically make a private translation admissible or satisfy an appointment requirement in a specific proceeding.
Large case files
A substantial file may be organized by document priority, delivery batches and shared terminology. Supply the complete set for assessment and identify the operative source versions.
The schedule is agreed after reviewing volume, legibility and complexity. Translation is not legal representation.

Before you send your documents
Does every judgment require a court expert translator?
Not necessarily. The recipient and procedure determine the required professional status and formalities.
Can you preserve headings and numbering?
Yes, when the source allows. The delivery format and treatment of graphical elements are confirmed before work starts.
Can only a selected extract be translated?
A clearly defined extract can be scoped if appropriate for the intended use. It must not be presented as a translation of the complete judgment.
Have a document for review?
Describe the documents, readers, purpose and any recipient instructions. Start without attachments if needed. You’ll receive a proposal with scope, timing and price before work begins.
