Cortés Traducciones is the professional brand of Sebastián Cortés Sepúlveda, an independent translator based in Santiago, Chile. For questions about your personal information, email contacto@cortestraducciones.cl.

When you contact us or request a quote, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organization, document type, languages, deadline and message. You may attach files if you choose. We also collect basic information about where an inquiry originated, such as the landing page and campaign attribution.

We use this information to answer inquiries, prepare quotes, complete agreed translation assignments and communicate with clients. We handle documents confidentially and do not publish them. You do not have to send attachments to make an initial inquiry.

Cloudflare provides hosting, security and Turnstile verification. Resend sends quote requests to our inbox, which is managed through Gmail. These providers may process information in other countries. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are used for optional website statistics only if you consent. You can reject analytics or change your choice through Privacy preferences without affecting quote requests.

We retain correspondence and documents for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, provide agreed services, handle appropriate follow-up and meet applicable business, tax or legal obligations. Files that are no longer needed may be deleted. You can ask us to delete documents you sent; we will review your request in light of any applicable retention obligations.

We respond in accordance with applicable law. If your documents need special handling, contact us without attachments first so we can agree on a suitable transfer method.
